    A meeting at the home of Kathleen McCreary

    August 11 at 4 PM

    Senator Scott Herndon will lead a discussion on what went right, what went wrong, how can we improve?  What are our vulnerabilities?

    Analysis scope will include external factors—all the cross voter registration- but also internal factors—what could we have done better?

    This discussion is meant to be a critique, not a criticism, conducted in a spirit of respect and appreciation.

    There will be light refreshments.

    The next election will potentially save our communities and our country. As a result,  Bonner County Republican Women, Inc. has an important responsibility to create a positive impact. Join us as we make decisions while hearing reports from our board members, plan upcoming events, and prepare for the crucial elections ahead. Members' Meetings are also an excellent opportunity to socialize and get to know each other better.

    Our commitment to conservative principles is a call to action. Join our powerful force for good to counter the left's local, state, and national agendas. Your input is essential in helping our organization move forward in this fight.

    We meet in the private side room at the brewery, where you can order drinks and food at the bar to bring into the meeting room.

    Heritage Action for America plays a pivotal role in shaping the political landscape in Idaho, championing conservative principles and policies. As a grassroots organization affiliated with The Heritage Foundation, Heritage Action works tirelessly to hold lawmakers accountable, advocate for conservative legislation, and engage citizens in the democratic process.

    Kristen (Dvorak) Christensen - BiographyKristen Christensen

    Kristen (Dvorak) Christensen serves as the State Director for Heritage Action for America in Idaho. With a deep-rooted passion for conservative values and public policy, Kristen has dedicated her career to advocating for principles such as limited government, free-market economics, and individual liberties.

    A native of Idaho, Kristen brings a wealth of local knowledge and a strong commitment to her role. She holds a degree in Political Science, which has provided her with a solid foundation in understanding the intricacies of government and policy-making.

    Meet the Candidates and Learn About the Issues

    Ron Korn

    Ron Korn, Commissioner Bonner County District 3

    Ron Korn is a Christian conservative patriot who has lived in Bonner County for 24 years with his wife of 31 years, with whom he has three children. Korn participated in their youth activities, including serving as Scout Leader of Troop 130, founding and assisting in coaching the 7B Volleyball Club, chaperoning high school band trips, and attending numerous football and baseball games and band concerts.

    Ron’s community service spans 23 years, including over 20 years as a volunteer with Bonner County Sheriff Search & Rescue, where he held leadership roles such as Training Officer, President, and Commander of over 150 volunteers.

    His other volunteer efforts include saving the 2020 Independence Day celebrations from cancellation, founding and organizing a community watch group of over 100 neighbors, volunteering with Northside Fire, founding the 7 Bravo Militia, and establishing the Freedom and Civil Liberties Union (FACLU) to support individual liberties.

    Brian Domke
    Brian Domke, Commissioner Bonner County District 1

    As a licensed landscape architect, Brian Domke helps North Idaho citizens develop small family farms and homesteads, promoting a secure, self-sufficient rural lifestyle. Brian has over 25 years of experience collaborating with clients, industry professionals, regulatory agencies, and the public. This background will enable him to oversee Bonner County's various activities.

    Brian's professional background gives him the skills to guide long-range planning, oversee large budgets, foster teamwork, find creative solutions, and make tough decisions with limited resources. In previous roles with architecture and engineering firms, Brian managed the planning, design, and construction of large projects for schools, colleges, libraries, and postal facilities. This experience in managing multi-million-dollar budgets is critical for a county commissioner.

    Brian has volunteered extensively to protect the rural communities of Bonner County from unlawful amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and spot zoning. He chaired the Priest River/Oldtown Sub-Area Plan Committee and authored property rights language affirming landowners' constitutional rights to use their land as they choose, provided it does not harm neighbors.

    Cornel Rasor

    Cornel Rasor, State Representative District 1


    With deep roots in Idaho, Cornel Rasor has spent many years in various roles in public service, business, and community engagement. Rasor's career spans multiple sectors, including business and public administration. He has a wealth of experience in leadership and management, having owned and operated businesses that have contributed significantly to the local economy.  He managed the Army Surplus Store in Sandpoint, Idaho for 41 years and owned it for the last 2 years. His business acumen gives him a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a keen understanding of the economic issues that affect Idahoans.

    Rasor is a family man who values Idaho's strong sense of community. He enjoys the outdoors and appreciates the natural beauty of the state.  He has a long history of involvement in local politics and governance including holding the position of county commissioner.

    Rasor's candidacy for Idaho State Representative is grounded in a commitment to service, a deep understanding of local issues, and a vision for a prosperous and free Idaho.
