As the holiday season approaches and we reflect on the true meaning of Christmas—the miraculous birth of our Lord Jesus Christ—we are thrilled to invite you to an unforgettable evening hosted by the Bonner County Republican Women, Inc. Our annual Christmas Celebration promises to be a heartwarming blend of faith, fellowship, and inspiration, featuring a special presentation by the esteemed Dr. Brigadier General (Ret.) Bryan J. Hult.

This will be a cozy gathering filled with the aroma of heavy hors d’oeuvres, the clink of glasses from our cash wine and beer bar, lively conversations among like-minded patriots, and a soul-stirring message from a true American hero. This is more than just an event;  it's a joyful celebration of the season, our shared values, and the enduring spirit of service that defines us.

A Legacy of Faith, Service, and Leadership: Meet Dr. Brig. Gen. Bryan J. Hult

We are honored to welcome Dr. Bryan J. Hult, a visionary leader whose life exemplifies unwavering dedication to God, country, and community. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Dr. Hult enlisted in the United States Army in 1978 as an infantryman and was commissioned as an Infantry officer through Officer Candidate School in 1979. He later transitioned to Aviation before answering a profound call to the Chaplain Corps, where he rose through the ranks to become the highest-ranking chaplain in the Army National Guard.

Over his illustrious 30+ years of military service, Dr. Hult provided spiritual guidance, counsel, and comfort to countless soldiers in times of triumph and trial. His distinguished career culminated in his retirement in 2010, but his commitment to service has only deepened since then. Just weeks ago, on November 9, 2025, he was proudly inducted into the Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame.

In the years following his military retirement, Dr. Hult continued to shepherd souls and uplift communities:

  • Senior Pastor, Grace Evangelical Church, Indianapolis, Indiana (2000–2014): Leading a vibrant congregation of over 400 members, he fostered spiritual growth and community outreach for more than a decade before stepping down in 2014. This role capped a pastoral ministry spanning over 27 years, including earlier service in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he first honed his gifts for preaching and discipleship.
  • Veteran Service Officer, Bonner County, Sandpoint, Idaho (2010–Present): For more than eight years, Dr. Hult has been a steadfast advocate for our nation's heroes right here in our backyard. Through compassionate counseling and dedicated support, he has helped countless veterans and their families navigate challenges and reclaim their sense of purpose.

Today, in 2025, Dr. Hult remains passionately engaged in ministry as an educator, teaching Biblical Greek and Hebrew to aspiring scholars and lifelong learners. A sought-after speaker and counselor, he draws on his deep well of experience to inspire audiences with messages of hope, resilience, and biblical truth. We can't wait for you to hear his insights during our celebration—prepare to be moved, encouraged, and equipped for the battles ahead.

We had a wonderful Giving Tree November Meeting Honoring

Boundary and Bonner County Turning Point USA

This year, in a poignant tribute to the late Charlie Kirk, we were thrilled to honor the Bonner’s Ferry Chapter of Turning Point USA (TPUSA). Kirk, the visionary co-founder of TPUSA, was tragically assassinated on September 10, 2025, while speaking at a public debate event on the Utah Valley University campus during the launch of his "American Comeback Tour."  Kirk empowered a generation to stand firm against leftist ideologies, making conservatism "cool" again through podcasts, rallies, and unfiltered advocacy. Kirk's legacy lives on in the hearts of millions and in the thriving chapters he inspired, reminding us that true patriots like him light the path for future leaders, even in the face of adversity.

An informed voter is a powerful voter.Republican Elephant

Identifying as a conservative is not the same as being a true conservative.

How do you know where candidates stand and which organization is more than conservative in name only?  Here are some tips to help:

Follow the money.

This state site has financial reports of candidates, organizations, and individuals that will tell you where funding comes from.

Don’t fall for the name.

The “Idaho Liberty PAC” spent its donor money on the campaigns of those who opposed the true liberty candidates. “Reclaim Idaho,” a Democratic organization trying to circumvent the people's will via the initiative process. “Take Back Idaho” has attacked the Idaho Freedom Foundation, a true conservative organization (and a good source of information). Idaho 97 supported mandatory vaccinations and masks and opposed the school choice movement. “Defend and Protect Idaho PAC” was created to attack true conservative candidates as “too extreme” and obtained most of its funding from liberals outside of Idaho. North Idaho Voter Services has attacked Bonner County Republican Women Inc, (BCRWI) our President, and other conservatives by label-lynching with the term “right-wing extremists.” They also sent out mailers encouraging cross-over voting during the primaries.

Watch for label-lynching and keywords.

Do they praise moderates and attack those who stand for the Constitution? Do they label lynch with terms such as “right-wing extremist” and “militant Christian fundamentalism” and describe any conservable viewpoint as “hateful rhetoric”?

Find out for yourself.

Attend meetings (school board, county commissioners, city council and other city meetings, library board—any meetings where decisions affect your quality of life and your tax dollars) in person or via zoom. Republican Central Committee meetings are a good way to discover the true conservatives in the county.

It is possible to know where people stand. Watch with whom they align, listen to what they say, watch whom they attack, follow the money, vet everyone, and then use your vote to support true conservatives.
